Here's a link to proper coverage of dsei this week

I'm afraid I failed this week, in my defence it has been a busy one.

Here's a link to some proper coverage of the actions this week.

13 September Day of Action

I failed quite early on in my attempt to write something every day this week the arms fair is on, but I think I have a reason.

A little bit about BAE

I was going to try and do a daily post connected to the arms fair this week, so here goes nothing.

DSEi

I recently read a William Blum report that included this quote:

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living in society, they create for themselves, in the course of time, a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it."
Frederic Bastiat, (1801-1850) French economist, statesman, and author*
Prior to the NATO bombing of Libya and with revelations that UK military equipment was being used for internal repression, Norfolk CAAT wrote to our local MPs.
Excellent news as a recent Amnesty International campaign has led to RBS announcing it will stop investing in companies that produce cluster bombs.

In another campaign on the arms trade the organisation is pushing for a more "robust and effective" Arms Trade Treaty. Take action here.
