Busy busy busy

Wow, it's been a while since I last wrote. Sorry about that. We've been busy.
We're moving house in a week so have been busy packing, I've had a couple of essays to do and we managed to squeeze in a holiday. I even went running while we were there. We stayed in Elton near Matlock in a little cottage. Went to the fantastic Indietracks Festival, had some walks, it was lovely. Like I said, I even went running a few times. Always managed to get a bit lost despite having studied the map before leaving. Kept forgetting about hills! Still it was fun.

I've progressed a bit since I last wrote. I managed a few five mile runs and then two or three sixes. I've been quite tired and have felt like I was taking a few steps back on the last few runs. It didn't help I timed one of my runs with a local running group and felt totally disheartened when I was repeatedly overtaken. Then last night, seemingly out of nowhere (I'd fallen asleep exhausted about an hour before I went out) I managed over seven miles! Even felt good. I can't believe I'm actually enjoying this. I avoided running as much as I could when I was younger!
