Norwich Peace Camp 2010

Norwich Peace Camp took place on 26 June at the forum.
It was another busy year, with events arranged in the fusion art space, as well as a performance by a ukulele orchestra and the start of the peace cycle. Unfortunately I spent most of the day helping on the stall so I didn't get to see any of these, but I heard they were good! It was a busy day with many visitors and the day went quickly. We promoted the latest CAAT campaign on UKTI and the current focus on public sector spending cuts is leading more people to question taxpayer support for arms companies.
I didn't miss the opportunity to ask for sponsorship for the Great South Run and managed to raise a further £122 towards my goal of £600. Thanks to everyone who sponsored me, now I just have to actually do the run and collect the money!
