Norfolk CAAT was at the Burston Strike School Rally last week. With the kind assistance of Norwich Stop the War and Norwich Palestine Solidarity Campaign we collected signatures for the UKTI: Armed and Dangerous campaign and gave out a lot of information on CAAT's activities.
This was the first time I had been to Burston so it was all new to me.
There was a large number of trade union, campaigning and community
stalls and welcome refreshments on a surprisingly sunny day. I was
particularly impressed with the speaker from the Cuban embassy, who
urged people to help Free the Miami 5,
and the Strike School itself. If you've not had the chance to visit the
School yourself it's a quite fitting monument to this remarkable event.
