Jerusalem: The East Side Story

FREE FILM SHOWING on Thursday 5th March - Room 01.02 Arts Block, University of East Anglia at 7.00pm.

The film will be followed by a discussion led by members of Norwich Stop the War Coalition.

All welcome.

"The Jerusalem issue will not be solved unless Israel abandons its claims to exclusive ownership and the city is released from military occupation to become a shared, open and free city with two capitals, two sovereignties, two municipalities and two peoples living together independently side by side enjoying equal rights, recognition and respect." Dr. Mahdi AbdulHadi, Chairman Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs

Under International Law, East Jerusalem is occupied territory. Not a single country in the world recognises Israel's claim on East Jerusalem. Ten UN Security Council resolutions have been passed regarding Jerusalem. None were implemented by Israel, and others were vetoed by the United States.
