UKTI (UK Trade and Investment) through their Defence & Security Organisation helps manufacturers to promote arms exports. Essentially, it now employs civil servants to help private companies to sell arms. This is an absolute disgrace. When I read on February 19 that BAE Systems had a pre-tax profit of £2.37bn, I felt another letter coming on.
